As part of the on boarding process of a female employee HR should go over the where the pump rooms are, share a copy of the breastfeeding policy for the respective state and also for the company. Discuss breastfeeding insurance benefits with the employee.
For women who have a job that requires some travel, I feel there should be laws to protect how much an employer can force on a nursing mom. There should be some protection for a working mother to limit travel during this time.
